Is anyone else finding ads covering content is helping restrict amount of time on MN

It’s been going on for weeks, multiple ads covering content. Making site frustrating to use.

HQ suggested clicking the X in the corner but more reappear. So actually it’s beneficial as I have really cut down using the site! Got lots work done!

And just as I opened this two pop up!! Yes it drives me absolutely potty! Covers content so you report it then it fucking stays there!!!

I found logging in got rid of the ads. For some reason I was logged out by mumsnet this morning and there were ads everywhere before I logged in again

I found I was logged out this morning as well. Had to go looking for my password as I never log out normally.

Didn't notice the ads though.

The fact I can't log in on my phone has certainly helped reduce my usage...

Yep! The more ads, the less likely I am to lose track of time as it's so jarring. Much more free time can only be a good thing!

Yes. Logged out for some unknown reason. Logging back in has got rid of the banner ad but there's still plenty o'space in the actual discussion to try to flog me "oak furniture"

Hmm, I do think MNHQ's making a rod for their own back with these obtrusive ads.
