Because it's an absolute shambles.
We were sold a complete dream, millions of pounds worth of very expensive high tech amazing equipment, they have never been allowed to use it apart from the open day.
Offering and running subjects they don't have the equipment for.
They are being investigated and literally have no money.
Teachers telling the pupils they don't have the equipment they need as they aren't in the cliques or the in group.
Huge staff turn over. It's a small school and I don't think my child has one teacher the same as when they started including the head and senior management or support staff.
The standard of teaching in some areas has been appalling.
Their GCSE rate has dropped by 30%
Ofsted is the lowest you can get , it failed in every single area.
That's before we even get to the issues that have affected my DC on a personal basis.
We picked the school due to there being no where else on offer when we had to move.
We tried to change but there was no where to go.
Who do these places answer to as the LA have no control over them as far as I know.
My son was never going to be an A grade student but he was managing and was looking at passes and we are currently looking at courses with no qualifications at all required for entry.
It's too late for us now but they shouldn't be able to ruin any more kids education.
