Wilko problem. Does anyone have the CEO's contact details?

As above really. I've got a problem with Wilko involving one of their stress balls which exploded over my dd during a school assembly. Dd is a teenager, ball was 3 days old and she was completely covered in what can only be considered to be a glue like substance. Dd was completely covered in this, which meant me being called into school with a change of uniform (which was completely ruined). Dd missed lessons as well as suffering the emotional embarrassment of this happening in front of her peers (not fun for a child who suffers from severe stress, hence the stress ball). This was bad enough for my dd, but what if it had been a young child who then licked their fingers etc.

I've tried to get somewhere with Wilko, but I'm not getting anywhere. I feel I need to escalate this. If you could see the damage this ball has done. It's honestly so sticky, its stuck to the bag we brought it home in, the floor, the door when I hung it up to take photos!

Aww sorry about your daughter, hope she's as alright as she can be. Maybe phone the store and ask them for the contact details? Atleast you'll be able to talk to a manager which is a step in the right direction?? Also post the photos ! 🙂 Hope your little girl is ok, I agree with letting others know they're dangerous.

Google is excellent for these sort of things

Report this to trading standards from your area as soon as possible. It could be there's a whole shipment if these defective stress balls and as you say they could cause serious injury to another child.

This should be it

I've tried googling. I know his name, Andrew Moore, but I was hoping I could get his direct details somehow. Quite often one of us vipers is good at finding these things out. Not me though. I'm a technophobe! I will be contacting Trading Standards too. I'll try and post photos but they're on my desktop so it will be later. Thanks everyone.

I think we X-posted, Weezy. Hopefully the image I posted is for the correct person, Lisa Wilkinson. But have a check on this website www.ceoemail.com anyway.

I've worked for a big company. Emails to ceo are opened by their PA and forwarded to the relevant department. Never seen by CEO.
I'm sorry about your daughter.

Have you tried social media yet? Almost always, customer service is dealt with swiftly and effectively when done through these public channels.

mrsjackrussell · 05/02/2019 10:17

As someone said social media. The big companies hate Twitter. Plaster it all over there with pics etc and I bet you will soon get it resolved.

Was it a wilko own brand product? If not you need to get in touch with the manufacturer not the retailer.
