Sleeping I bed , what age?

Aibu to let my 9 year old.son sleep in my bed tonight- or any night?
He asked to go to bed in here and I just put him to bed and now ive come to bed. Dh will prob sleep in spare room as he has arm in a cast.
What age does it become inappropate? I guess when it starts to feel wrong. But for some perhaps this already would?....

No not wrong at all! The day will come (soonish I expect!) that he may not want to especially when he starts high school so I would just enjoy these lovely moments 💕

I shared a bed with my mum when I was 23.

Probably wouldn’t have shared a bed with my dad at that age though.

My son is 5, and he still comes into our bed for a cuddle most nights/mornings.

When he hits puberty. Though he will decide before that he wants to sleep in his own.

my 8 and half y old is still with me and still needs me at night

hes been with me since birth and has never had his own bed

he will leave me when ever,but looking at it its going to be years to come as hes mentally 4-5 and looks like hes not leaving that age anytime soon

Aw no its fine and lovely! A man I worked with, his son was 12 and still got into the bed with them, his wife loved it and he was her last so she cherished it.He 14 now and hasn't slept in the bed with them in ages so enjoy it while it lasts
