Wtf is happening to my body

Tried posting on other boards but no response so here we are.
Im 39 and been on Yasmin pill for 5 years since ds born,all good.This month however 10 days into pill pack I've been having sore nipples and slight period pains,this continued for several days so I took a pt.negative as expected,took one each day for 3 more days still negative.Been to see dr today who says I could be pregnant even though tests negative as can get symptoms before test shows positive.Im really panicking now as I haven't missed any pills and we are not planning any more children.Has anyone experienced this? I've got a blood test monday

Have you missed a pill or been ill or anything that would have stopped the pill from working?

I know that stress can delay periods so it may be nothing and that the worry is just making it worse! I think it’s quite unlikely you are pregnant if you’ve had two negative tests, so hopefully it’s just a weird body blip.

Thanks for replying no I haven't missed a pill or been sick,I only stopped period 12 /14 days ago but dr said sometimes people bleed when pregnant,I didn't bleed at all with ds

I don't think anyone here will be able to tell you more than your doctor did OP. Sometimes the pills fails, sometimes we get weird random pregnancy symptoms when not pregnant.

I'm afraid it's just a case of waiting until Monday.

Even if you're pg you can have a breakthrough bleed from your pills as it isn't actually a period. All you can do is wait really. I hope you get the result you want.

I'm not pregnant! Had a blood test yesterday.im now considering changing my pill in case it's giving me new side effects
