I have to do it. It's going to be shitty weather. Bit nervous... any tips? I'm not a hugely experienced driver (been driving 3 years).

Down load the app WAZE, its the cab drivers app, its far better than a pratt nav, and shows you jams etc

Use the M40.

Have some emergency supplies in your car, like a thermos of something hot, some snacks, something to pee in, loo roll and wipes. (dont ask just trust me)
You'll be fine just take it steady.

@PlainSpeakingStraightTalking I mean any tips re route, likelihood of getting stuck somewhere etc. Anything really. I've never driven in icy conditions where there's a weather warning before.

Chill out. It's not a difficult drive, or even a particularly long one. And the motorway won't be icy.

I’m based in Birmingham OP. Practically on top of Spaghetti Junction and the weather is absolutely fine here, no snow expected until almost 8pm.
