So I’ve just been onto another thread, now deleted. And of course I know what a TAAT is (hence why I’m not saying the name of the thread!) but what on earth does NITS mean?
I did try and look it up, but typing in NITS into the search bar just gives me threads from desperate mums looking for headline remedies!

Also whilst we are here if anyone wants to share acronyms they don’t/ didn’t know maybe we can all share some wisdom!

Not In The Spirit.......of the site? Just a guess.

Bamchic · 30/01/2019 19:48

I was pondering for ages but it might actually be not in the spirit? Who knows?

FutureMrsTempah · 30/01/2019 19:49

Kelvingrove · 30/01/2019 19:55

FabulouslyGlamorousFerret · 30/01/2019 20:01

I saw QED the other day and had to google it - I can't actually remember what it was 🤣

3out · 30/01/2019 20:03

Queens English Dictionary? (Is that a thing?]

hazeyjane · 30/01/2019 20:05

Quod Erat Demonstradum

VeniVidiWeeWee · 30/01/2019 20:06

QED is latin for, roughly, thus it is shown. (Quod erat demonstrandum iirc).

VeniVidiWeeWee · 30/01/2019 20:07

Sorry. Beaten to it.

hazeyjane · 30/01/2019 20:07

Sorry lost an 'n' - demonstrandum.

3out · 30/01/2019 20:08

Thanks for the translation. Can’t see how I can work it into my daily language, annoyingly.

Bamchic · 30/01/2019 20:09

QED is the name of a rough area in my MIL’s town where BIL lives...
