Period weirdness long term breastfeeding

Has anyone had this? The first one came after 18months post partum..... Then there was a 5 week break, then kind of normal. Once a month.... Now I've come on again or I'm. Spotting and have the classic headache and back pain I normally get at the start of my period and my last period was like 15 days ago? AIBU to freak out? Second child.... Still. Breastfeeding through the night.... He is nearly 2.

Mine came back when EBF DD was 5 months, she's nearly 9 now and they're all over the place. I have PMTd twice without coming on and I haven't got a clue when to expect the next one! I've had 3 so far but they've been pretty irregular.... I even did a pregnancy test last month even though we've only done it a couple of times since DD (and not even in that month!) and been super safe.

This is my 2nd, with DS they didn't come back till I finished bf. I'm a bit fed up with it tbh

Yes. Mine first came back at 6 months PP, then 8/9 months, then nearly 11 months... very random.

And I'm still BF (he's just over 11 months).
