DD (5) and I were running up a relatively busy road to get to a chemist when I was hit by something cold and wet in the face, it wasn’t loads as I wasn’t soaked or anything but it was a shock. Whatever it was hit dd on the hand too. I’m assuming it came from a car on the road as it was on that side of my face, but as we were running due to it being dark cold and windy I wasn’t paying that much attention to the cars going past. I can’t imagine where else it could come from and the liquid didn’t seem to smell so I’m hoping it’s just water and nothing unsavoury. I still showered us both as soon as we got home from our twenty minute drive. I’m really grossed out now though and can’t stop thinking about it.
