"Shall we just re-arrange?" AIBU to find this really annoying?!
This is a particular bugbear of mine! If we've arranged to go out as a group and one or two people can't make it, there's always the people that say let's just rearrange. I find this infuriating for 2 reasons:
- I've had it in my diary and could've arranged something else instead or could've turned something else down for this event (although having time to catch up with housework is sometimes a good thing!)
- It makes me feel like the company of those who can still make it isn't good enough to justify the meet up.
I'm not referring to events that need loads of people but just a coffee or lunch... And breathe...
