I have an almighty hangover today and feel awful! Obviously my own fault. Blush But if anyone has any suggestions for how to get over a hangover quickly, I'd really appreciate it??

Anything you have tried that works?

Thanks I advance (might not be able to muster a thank you later if these cures don't work!! As need to sleep!!)

Sex and sleep. Shandy.

MrBrainsFaggots · 27/01/2019 10:53

Fanta and corn-based snacks. Pint of lager with a top lager. Sex. Sleep.

Caticorn · 27/01/2019 10:53

Full fat coke. Mars bar. Mini cheddars. Back to sleep. Tea and bacon sandwich later. If you have access to a steam room it's like a miracle cure.

Hoopaloop · 27/01/2019 10:53

Few cans of K cider.

LadyOfTheCanyon · 27/01/2019 10:54

Full fatcoke and a bacon or sausage sarnie.

Jeezoh · 27/01/2019 10:54

Full fat coke but pour it from glass to glass half a dozen times to get rid of the bubbles then drink it.

MarthasGinYard · 27/01/2019 10:54

Alka seltzer XS and a large Ribena

Nononononono33 · 27/01/2019 10:55

Echo the full fat coke. A swim - never fails.

FabulouslyGlamorousFerret · 27/01/2019 10:56

McDonalds breakfast - it's the only remedy!

Hemlock2013 · 27/01/2019 10:57

Loads of liquid, coke water whatever, swim or walk in the fresh air x

Polarbearflavour · 27/01/2019 10:57

Agree with lots of full fat coke!

Slothcuddles · 27/01/2019 11:00

Full fat coke. Coxodemol. Sleep. Repeat.

I can’t eat until lunchtime with a hangover or I am sick. But when I do it’s a McDonald- quarter pounder with cheese, large fries and another full fat coke!

JennyOnAPlate · 27/01/2019 11:00

McDonald's milkshake sorts me out.

SauvingnonBlanketyBlanc · 27/01/2019 11:00

McDonald's with strawberry milkshake cured me yesterday

CrazyPineapple · 27/01/2019 11:00

Rehydration satchets work for me. And sleep Smile

PuppyMonkey · 27/01/2019 11:00

White bread toast with butter accompanied by flat Coca Cola. Go back to bed.

Idontbelieveinthemoon · 27/01/2019 11:01

Full fat coke and two bananas.

Next time you drink too much drink a glass of milk and a banana before you go to bed. Always works to prevent my hangovers.

GetYourRocksOff · 27/01/2019 11:03

Irn Bru

Milliepede · 27/01/2019 11:03

You need grease and sugar - full fat coke and a bacon butty should sort you out

Cornettoninja · 27/01/2019 11:03

McDonald’s meal - breakfast or normal, the salt/fat/sugar is the perfect rehydration ratio.

Or diralyte if you have it I suppose. McDonald’s is much tastier though!

FunkyChunk · 27/01/2019 11:06

A shower always makes me feel 10x better immediately. Followed by loads of bread / crisps / orange juice / flat coke or lemonade. And painkillers!

buckeejit · 27/01/2019 11:09

Ugh, couldn't do full fat coke. I've a middle sized hangover mixed with a stinky cold. Having tea & a biscuit here & will have some milk & an apple.

Corn based snacks I can do Smile

CocoMadwoman · 27/01/2019 11:14

I usually have to inhale tea and water, go back for a nice, long snooze, then:

Hot shower
Salty, fatty takeaway e.g. McD’s, pizza, Chinese etc + a pint of ice cold coke

Then loads more water and lazing around.

Take a paracetamol and a Berocca before bed.

I gate to tell you this, OP, but dry January has been a joy Grin

BigFatBloomers · 27/01/2019 11:16

Peanut butter and banana on toast
Got me through many work days

XiCi · 27/01/2019 11:19

Big mac meal, full fat coke or if you want to go the healthy route apple cider vinegar diluted in water with a couple of milk thistle tablets.

Any way you can go back to bed? An afternoon in bed watching Grace and Frankie sorted me out last Sunday Smile
