To think my nausea is caused by menopause?

I'm 46 and think I'm in perimenopause although its hard to be sure as I have a mirena coil and don't get periods. Sometimes during the night I get horrible nausea and it doesn't seem related to what I've eaten. Could this be a menopause symptom? If not what could it be? And how can I stop it?

Anyone else experiencing this?

I have to say Ive not heard of nausea as a menopausal symptoms. Acid reflux can be -I get this, esp at night. Have you spoken to a gp?

If they cant come up with anything then you could try not eating anything in the hours before you go to bed and see if that helps.

Could it be the mirena causing the nausea? How long have you had it? Perhaps now you're in peri the hormones in the mirena are affecting you differently?

Ah is that why my acid reflux has returned? I'm 48 and have been waking up at 3am with it burning, I'm munching on ginger nuts in the middle of night😂
I've heard nausea is a symptom Op, women can get a whole range of physio and psychological symptoms. Hope the nausea eases off for you.

I've had the mirena for yonks, and I do have reflux also...in fact I have barrett's oesophagus. Maybe this is a new symptom from that 😐. I haven't spoken to a gp I guess that's my next step.
