To ask for your recommendations (Rome)

DP and I are looking to do a long weekend in Rome any time between May and July (excluding school holidays) - either Friday to Monday or Thursday to Sunday.

Can anyone recommend a good hotel that's in walking distance to the attractions, has a decent breakfast and most importantly won't require me to sell a kidney to afford!

I have been to Rome before but stayed a little out of the centre. Hotel was lovely but wrong location.

Thanks in advance!

Me and my DP stayed here for my 30th. I loved it and would go back in a heart beat, location is fantastic and the staff were incredible.

We stayed here and it was lovely! As we were there in August and had DD7 with us, we sometimes used metro to travel which was close, but wouldn't have if just me and DH. V central, lush restaurants close by, perfect for us!

This place is perfect. We have stayed there twice and lots of friends have too. Everyone loves it. Location is amazing, between Campo di Fiori and Piazza Navona. Breakfast is coffee and pastries delivered to your room on a tray but it's all you need. Best gelato in town next door.
