Posting here for traffic but I need some suggestions for a family friendly villa holiday for a special birthday. I literally cannot find anything suitable and it’s driving me half mad!!!!
DF has a big birthday in the summer and DM wants us all to go away (me DH, year old DD, them and my DB).
She’s sent me s few options which have been wildly impractical in terms of child friendliness so she’s said why don’t I have a look (with all my free time that a 5 month old allows you!) we are easy on location, just somewhere sunny in Europe. Croatia, SoF, Ballerics, Atlantic Coast Portugal would probably be our preferred locations though. We need to be close to a beach/town in terms of it being 10/15 min max drive (walking distance would be lovely but I think we’ll struggle) And it of course needs be toder friendly, no dangerous drops or floating stairs, needs to have a bath (so many don’t have a bath!!!), high chair supplied ideally and a nice pool area (option to gate off ideally). It’s a special bday and I haven’t been on holiday in two years so want something v v nice also so 4/5* level. Happy to pay the extra for a bigger villa than we’d need to get the right thing but so many seem to sleep 12/14 and it makes the cost extortionate!
Has anyone rented anything recently which fits the bill? Please help! Suggested a hotel but parents want a villa.
