To complain to my neighbours above me?

Not because their music is so loud you can hear every word in all the rooms both upstairs and down, or because it's keeping the kids awake. Not because their singing is bad and they sound like they are going to fall through the ceiling. I want to complain that they keep skipping every song after one minute it's so irritating. If we are going to be forced to hear it at least let us hear the whole thing.

Bahaha this made me chuckle. Super annoying!

Hedwigsradio · 19/01/2019 23:06

I'm usually a very tolerant person but they are pushing even my patience.

Urgh they are still at it. They have yet to finish a song and I'm going to have some very grumpy children in the morning.

Urgh! Maybe they’ve been taking tips from this?

Grace212 · 19/01/2019 23:48

there's a setting for this on my MP3

I have no idea why such a setting even exists!

Hedwigsradio · 19/01/2019 23:48

Haha I think they have I've heard the bowling balls or was it a barrel who knows.

I must be old a setting for that. I'm hoping they will have the decency to stop at midnight but not holding my breath.

We've just bought a ground floor flat. The neighbours directly above stomp around like ten thousand ton elephants. We hear their TV, we hear the woman humming or something, and they're in and out at all hours. I think they're the ones smoking indoors, too. But luckily they don't seem to have kids. I'm guessing that would involve the constant thunder-thunder of heavy, fat ten thousand ton toddler feet too.

my neighbours 200 meters down the road do this, not only is it loud enough i can sing along with the song in my house but they skip songs half way thru, or they mess with the base every song, or they restart it 30 seconds into the song multiple times.... its annoying as it is so loud and the base thumps thru our house, but even worse with the bloody skipping half way thru!!!!!!!! and yes 200 meters down the road, with a hedge at their house and we have a line of poplar trees at ours and we are a brick house, so it must be fucken deafening at theirs

longwayoff · 20/01/2019 06:44

My above neighbour is very quiet, never hear him. But he has unintentionally flooded my flat 5 times in 5 years, last time was yesterday morning. I could wring his scrawny neck.

Hedwigsradio · 20/01/2019 08:24

Think I will take the noise over the flooding. My place is a masonette they are all two stories. We can hear the people each side of us running up and down the stairs and the people above swearing at each other in the mornings. Most of the people have young children so luckily parties are pretty rare. They finally finished on half of every song from the train spotting album screamed at each other for a bit and then stopped at 1.30 this morning.

Oh my god I'm raging just reading that. I'm not at all tolerant to noise and had to live in a ground floor flat with noisy neighbours once. Drove me insane.

Pinkprincess1978 · 20/01/2019 08:39

We living near a sports ground and last summer it wasn't the noise that bothered us but that they would play about 30 seconds of s song each time someone scored. It was highly irritating 😝

Hedwigsradio · 20/01/2019 08:59

It was starting to drive me mad towards the end. I think the sports ground music would have driven me insane. What winds me up more living here is the constant smell of drugs when we walk out our front door. It's awful.
