What happened to the cat?

I know this is a TAAT so I expect it to be removed swiftly but I've just gone to check for any updates on the cat who had dettol sprayed at it & can't find it. Anyone know what happened to it? Please tell me it wasn't a troll.

Oh yeah, it’s disappeared! No idea but at least if it was made up, no poor cat suffered.

Ok. Well, from what I remember, the cat was very well looked after and loved.

It was removed at least partly because a tabloid got hold of the story. But there was no suggestion that the OP wasn't genuine.

I understand that the thread was removed because it was poached by a newspaper. The OP has name changed but popped up on an unrelated thread to say she and puss are fine.

Sorry to add to a TAAT, MNHQ - but people have been worrying about the outcome for the cat. Remove this in time, but not too soon, eh?

There was an update on another thread - the cat stayed overnight at the vet and is no home

From what I could make out the Partner was going to his mother's and couldn't understand all the fuss about what he had done

now home

I did look at an older thread of the OPs from last year to see if she was a regular & he didnt seem particuarly pleasant back then either

Only just seen this, I am OP who named changed as two tabloids ran the story and it got a bit outting for me. Cat is very well, still living and very much loved. Ex DP is currently still living in his mother's attic room.

So pleased to hear a positive update OP. Glad the cat is doing well & ex is still ex.
