To ask if this sounds like a kidney stone?!

DH woke at 4am, shaking and trembling. He has a fever, lower back ache which is radiating into his thighs and groin, can't get comfortable and can't pee.

Does this sound like kidney stones?!

First set of Test results - PO2 is low, O2Hb is low, HHb is high.

Can anyone help interpret these please?

I recently suffered one and couldn't pee either. I was admitted to hospital and had a catheter for 3 days. His symptoms sound very similar, can he get into GP? 111? Even A&E if his pain is severe. I was given the maximum dose morphine which still didn't touch it. They're really effing painful.

We tried 111 which said to come to hospital. We're here now, which is where they did those tests.

The first doctor we saw said they'd give antibiotics straightaway (suspected UTI but he still can't pee for them to do a sample) but the next doctor has said to wait for a scan and it might just be a case of drinking lots of water and taking paracetamol.

I'm not convinced he's very well at all but the latest doctor has been quite dismissive and told us to go for a coffee until he has a kidney scan early afternoon.

I had a 7mm kidney stone blocking, unable to pee, intense pain in lower back, vomiting, unable to keep a drink down. Kidney stones come in all shapes and sizes, scan will show whats going on. Hope he feels better.

The pain of a kidney stone is agonising, think rolling around and screaming. Hope he hasn't got one.

After a full day at the hospital, including blood tests and scans, we've been told it's a virus! Seems absolutely bizarre.....
