I put a parcel in the letter box, help

I feel a bit daft but I needed to return two items from an online clothing store

I peeled the returns label off and stuck it on the front then just popped it in the letterbox. It’s been over a week and I heard nothing so emailed the company who said I should’ve taken it to the office and got proof of postage

Happy to accept I’ve been an idiot, but what will happen to my parcel?

Will it ever reach them? It’s not a mistake I’ll make again in a hurry 😂

I've done the same thing, loads of times.
It can take a while to get a 'we got your return' email from the company.
What company is it, do you mind my asking?

It should get there eventually but you have no recourse if it doesn't unfortunately

Don't panic just yet, I sent two separate parcels to the same company at the same time. I was refunded for one within 10 days and the other was just less than 3 weeks to wait. I was just starting to worry about the second one so was pleased when I got the refund in the end.

As they were correctly addressed and postage paid they will be delivered.

I’m curious- how did you manage to fit it in the post box? Was it a very small item like jewellery? Because ours have those funny grids inside so you can just about get a thick letter in lol
