Theresa May is not doing this, she is extending an invitation to discuss.

So irritating to hear reaching out over and over instead of actual meaningful words that mean stuff on the BREXIT commentary today!

I HATE that term. It's so cheesy! Argh!

Womantheonlykind · 16/01/2019 19:50

It always makes me think of people lolling about walking dead zombie style. Weirdly there are a lot of images coming up on my search for Theresa May Zombie images...

I took it out of an internal memo today - radiates insincere bullshit

TwelveThirtyTwo · 16/01/2019 20:12

It is a truly wanky expression.

LimpidPools · 16/01/2019 20:13

Fucking awful.

Foxyloxy1plus1 · 16/01/2019 20:20

I complained to a clothing company about a non delivery and the email reply started “Thank you for reaching out to us.”

No, I didn’t. I simply asked where my items were and I told them so. Mind you, the stuff is shipped from America, so that’s probably why.

Kerrygeld · 16/01/2019 20:20

It’s a phrase only used by utter utter bellends.

NigelGresley · 16/01/2019 21:39

Aw gawd Theresa May used it?
I thought it was firmly confined to the realms of business admin where people strive to make their boring work sound more interesting and significant than it is.

Apileofballyhoo · 16/01/2019 21:41

At least she's not touching base.

Walkingdeadfangirl · 16/01/2019 21:55

I think she is trying to bring everyone into the tent.
