Has anyone done a payroll qualification and can advise me??

Boring post alert... Posting for traffic: I have an AAT level 4 certificate and am working in finance currently, looking to expand my skill set by completing a payroll qualification ideally through a part time distance learning course.

Is there anyone with any experience that can advise me the best one to go for? There’s a few online and I’m not sure which one is the best option.

I went with training link on the ICB website, this obviously is for an ICB qualification and not AAT but not sure if it matters as long as you’re qualified lol?

Thanks I’ll take a look at that one, was it fairly straightforward? I’ve been stung by a distance learning college once before (Home Learning College, robbing bastards) and I don’t want to pick the wrong one!

Also I’m hoping work will pay if I ask... so I need to know which one I definitely want to go for

CIPP - if you start the foundation degree in payroll management then you actually gain something after each stage, so don’t have to complete it, but it means you can get a student loan for it (assuming you’ve not had one before)

I’ve doubled my wage since completing the full qualification with them, it’s very highly rated with employers

CIPP are the chartered payroll body and offer a range of qualifications. They're the recognised ones in the field so I'd have a look at their courses before anything else.

I've done the foundation degree and found the teaching and tutor support really good and the course structure etc worked really well.

Ok thank you I did have a look at CIPP and was leaning towards them
