I keep looking up DH’s ex on social media

In a relationship 11 years, he had assets with ex that they were still dividing when we stared our relationship and it took some time. Around 2 years into our relationship where she was a nightmare.

Anyway once all completed contact broken. However becaue she kept a house I did look up the old house when it was sold. Long story short she has a lifestyle Instagram. I find myself checking this regularly which is really weird.

Tell me it’s weird? I look at the stuff and can see common taste and sort of forgot whilst browsing its related to her then when I remember I feel weird, why am I holding onto this?

It’s not weird to be curious about previous women in your dhs life. I hope you’re not obsessing over her though.

It's been 11 years, step.away from.social media peeking (stalking) your DH's ex. Unless it has a specific purpose, (for.eg. he's midst financial/divorce settlement and he& you believe she is being untruthful in her financial disclosure), no good will come of it.

Does DH know.you are doing this? She's an ex. Leave her in his ex-land.

How much time are we talking? I think checking briefly every now and then out of curiosity is pretty normal. But not if you're spending a lot of time on this then yes that's weird.

@Move2WY no not obsessing I actually like the account but then when I realise I feel weird because it is weird. It’s become a habit when I am on that so and check quiet a few regular accounts.

Yes it is weird, a quick nosy is one thing but it sounds like it is more. Seriously break the habit if you clicked on a picture, or as a pp said she can tell your reading her story it would be embarrassing. I am sure lots of people have lurked but it is time to stop.
