So we live nextdoor to a family who have 2 grown up kids.One of them lives at home (he's in his late 20's). He smoked a LOT of weed, we daily have vast clouds of weed smoke coming into our garden (he smokes by the back door). OK, that is not the worst as they should be allowed to do that. His mum is too a chain smoker and in addition to weed we also have cigarette smells drifting into our garden. Not the worst problem, I agree. BUT, Mr Dope Smoker is smoking 24/7 (middle of night stuff), banging doors, coughing his guts up outside, having friends over till God knows what time in the morning, slamming car doors, beeping loudly when they leave etc. Last year, they faffed with their extraction van, which meant weed smells drifted through out joint wall into our lounge (nice). I spoke to them about it and it stopped (but also after we filled in all gaps, cracks and skirting board cracks to stop the stench coming through). They are just SO annoying and I can't stand them. My DD and DH are asthmatics (they know this) and being in the garden (spring/summer) is just gross. They are also so noisy (we live in a cul de sac with 11 little kids who are all in junior school -but yet they have no regard for late night (I'm talking past 10pm) noisy and beeping car horns. AIBU to be miffed? We area on friendly terms with them (accept packages for each other) - but half of our night sleep is f@cked up by Mr Dope Smoker's Antics. He's an adult (with a DD who is with him at weekends, wallowing in dope stench). Sorry, I am not in a good mood today. Rant over.
