I did it! A perfect espresso!

I treated myself to a De’Longhi pump espresso machine and a coffee grinder in the attempt to make excellent coffee at home. After fucking about with it and wasting a lot of beans, I finally sussed it and made a perfect espresso and I feel rather smug.

What are some seemingly insignificant things you’ve done recently that you’re disproportionately proud of?

Cut my home made bread nice and thin. I was SO proud of myself!

I registered with a dentist. I have extreme anxiety around dentists but I’ve done it because I’ve deceloped pain the last couple of days. I’m terrified but my appoint is tomorrow and I’m going.

Relating to your original post, I bought a bean to cup machine a couple of weeks ago. Best decision EVER. Enjoy your coffee!

writers that’s not disproportionate! Well done you!

Making a killer beef casserole. Not even funny.

Any tips for us? :)

Changed the battery in the digital monitor of my water filter jug. It was such a faff but I refused to accept defeat.

Yes - buy a bag of £3 beans from the supermarket until you’ve perfected your craft - then you can order the freshly roasted food stuff Smile
