To be pissed off here?

My grandparents live in a multi storey building which has a main door and a side door which is designated fire door but everyone uses the fire door to leave the building.
I'm walking in with heavy bags and a council builder is walking out the fire door so I go to walk in and he shouts "use the other door, the other door"
Yet here he is walking out of said fire door.
Now it's not so much asking me to use the other door..fair enough it's his shitty attitude.
What happened to manners?
"Can you use the other door please"
Yet apparently this rule didn't apply to him.
It just chews me up.

Couldn't get worked up about it, tbh. I'd have replied 'What, like you are?!'

tiggerkid · 14/01/2019 11:23

I would have forgotten about it in about 3 seconds!

JustJoinedRightNow · 14/01/2019 11:23

If he was a builder did he have tools etc set out inside the hallway and didn’t want you to walk into them?
Really strange to yell at you to go through the other door when he’s just come from it!

Nicknacky · 14/01/2019 11:24

Use the main door from now on.

wateringhole3 · 14/01/2019 11:25

No tools he was walking out of it to go into his van which he parked on the footpath.

I would be pissed off too, not at being told to use the other door but the way he said it and the fact he was using said door.

JustJoinedRightNow · 14/01/2019 11:27

Really bizarre.
Who knows why people say things sometimes.

wateringhole3 · 14/01/2019 11:28

I know it's not worth getting chewed up over a door.
Lately everywhere I go seems to be people with no manners.
It just grates on me.
Really need to grow a thicker skin
