thought my son couldn't breathe.

Very nearly just called 999 as I thought my son couldn't breathe. He was asleep and woke up moaning a bit, but it was like he couldn't breathe. He has colic and I think he was holding his breath when he was in pain, almost like when babies do a poo. He was half asleep still so seemed really floppy

I actually dialled 999 and hung up when he started crying and I realised he was okay.

Scariest moment of my life. I just went in to panic mode. He's only 2 months old.

Anyone else had a similar moment with their kids? I feel so on edge now even though I know he's okay.

Ds was 5 weeks prem, came home at 4-12.A fortnight old I had been putting laundry away etc and went to check on him, all floppy and lifeless. Had no phone on me, dh far end of big house, started rubbing him gently and talking to him, slowly he came round. Never in my life have I encountered such terror. He is 4 now and hasn't left me how we could have lost him.

I would still get that checked out.
