To ask how to strike through/tag pleeease

I cannot work out how, please can someone tell me how to tag/quote a comment, or strike through.

However on my iPad Pro I can’t strike through which has made me .

Strike is before an after sentence I saw a duck -- with no gap between first and last letter. To link it is [[ again at start and again at the end of the text.

To bold/quote comments, use an asterisk (*) before and after said comment. To strikethrough, use double dashes (--) before and after whatever you want to strikethrough.

Doesn’t work on Apple products any more.

To quote a comment copy and paste then at start of the text and again end. I hate him * with no gap between text and star.

On iPad you have to turn off smart punctuation in your settings. I turned it back on because I it was a pita without it and not worth the hassle just to be able to do an occasional strike through.

To tag a poster on a thread type "@" and a list of PPs names appears at the bottom of the screen, choose one and it appears in bold and notifies them
(On my iPhone app anyway)

I’ve had a couple of strikeout fails recently. Thought I’d just forgotten how to do it, but that makes sense seeing as I do it the same way I think I always have.

Alternatively, on Apple products you can highlight the text you want to strikethrough, press this "T" button at the bottom of your reply screen, and select the strikethrough option.

It works on my apple products, you have to switch the autocorrect thing for punctuation off in settings sent from my iPad
