To ask if I’ve got a big fanjo?

Not a windup, MN regular, NC because embarrassing Blush

I’ve noticed some knickers are quite slim fitting in the fanjo area. The bum and the front fit fine but the actual fanjo bit seems quite narrow, and my lips often slip out, like half of my fanj Blush

I’m average height and weight and had this all my life, just with certain brands (H&M, M&S). Don’t think my lips dangle or bulge more than any others I’ve seen (not that I’ve seen many but enough?) Made me wonder if I’ve got a wider fanjo than average or do others have this too?

Do you mean your labia / crotch area or your triangle at the front of your pants ?
Have a google of images ( aim for medical shots rather than porn ones ) and you will see they come in all shapes and sizes and their isn't really a ' normal' at all .

Racecardriver · 13/01/2019 13:48

I’ve never had this but I wear granny pants. Some of the things I’ve seen look like they would have that effect though (never worn a though so would know, maybe they just sit over the top).

Bluntness100 · 13/01/2019 13:48

Are they too small for you maybe?

TinselAndKnickers · 13/01/2019 13:50

I also used to have Lip Slips Grin so I sized up in my pants. Bit baggy on the old bum crack but no flap disasters since!

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 13/01/2019 13:50

Really Hmm

Fannyblusher · 13/01/2019 13:53

I’ve got a bit of a big bum so I’d be afraid to size up. Doesn’t happen with all brands. Might be the style of knickers, don’t wear giant gran pants generally.

Have you tried the shorts style. That are widely available in places like Primark, asda etc as well as more expensive places. Would depend on your budget.

Bertiebitch32 · 13/01/2019 14:01

Op I find high leg or Thai style knickers rather um on the narrow side. Stick to either full brief or boxer shorts Wink

Aridane · 13/01/2019 14:05

They're probably just too small and you need a bigger size

robininbrum · 13/01/2019 14:06

Bigger sizes knick-nacks obvs! Smile

robininbrum · 13/01/2019 14:07

ooops bigger 'sized,' (not sizes)

ZigZagZombie · 13/01/2019 14:08

Just the manufacturer. In these far east factories they'll be able to shave off (ooer missus) a penny a pair by cutting them smaller. Whilst they'll not get away with making them too tiny for western women - they can happily make a bunch of you wonder if you're anatomically incorrect.

I've got pants barely cover my crack and pants which reach nicely from thigh to thigh.

Got to be honest I've never worried about this... don't get me started on inch wide shoes though!

IHaveBrilloHair · 13/01/2019 14:11

Well fanjos come in all shapes and sizes as do pants, so you just need to match your fanjo to your pants.

vagan · 13/01/2019 14:11

Buy proper knickers. The cheaper ones scrimp on fabric. Sloggi are excellent.

DerelictWreck · 13/01/2019 14:14

Surely if you've got a bit of a big bum, then sizing up would help/be a good thing?

Oldraver · 13/01/2019 14:14

You need shorts. I changed to these as elastic irritates me and they do have a wider more comfortable crotch

Vitalogy · 13/01/2019 14:16

The bigger the better I say Grin

I know what you mean re knicker. Try Sainsbury's they're generous in this region Wink

Fannyblusher · 13/01/2019 14:26

Thanks, not been considering plastic surgery or anything but just wondering if I’m larger than average between me thighs.
I’ve got a big bum so already size up, afraid if I went bigger they’d slide off.
The cheap cuts makes sense, fancy for me is M&S multipack Confused
But feel a bit pervy to go to the shops and stretch out the crotchc of the pants before buying Blush

Pringlecat · 13/01/2019 14:29

Pants are like bras. Keep the same size and change the style, and the fit is completely different. Whatever you're buying just isn't your style. Try something else. Oh - and do check whether you are actually wearing the right size. Measure! You could be wearing a size too small.

Oopsusernamealreadytaken · 13/01/2019 14:32

Sainsbury’s do a set of three, they are a lacy top, but seamless bottom and are wide enough to fit a normal sized chuff in.

NannyKasey · 13/01/2019 14:33

@Vitalogy, I agree re Sainsburys knickers, I like the shorts.
I won't ever buy 'Granny Pants' especially if they are white Grin

Pinkyyy · 13/01/2019 14:34

I'm sorry I just find it so difficult to take this thread seriously with the repeated use of the word 'fanjo'

MeetJoeTurquoise · 13/01/2019 14:35

I think you follow Angry People in Local Newspapers onFB don't you. Wasn't the story shared by them this morning?

BadPolicy · 13/01/2019 14:41

I use reusable sanitary towels, and some manufacturers offer them in different widths as well as lengths, so I guess there is some variation out there!

Fannyblusher · 13/01/2019 14:57

BadLolicy, yes that’s a good point, I’ve noticed some towels (just normal sized ones) are too wide for the knickers so maybe it is just a slim cut
