I know it's a lot of water to use, but in the winter it's so nice to warm up in the bath. Is every other day excessive?

huh? I bath daily.

Acorn20 · 12/01/2019 13:44

Obviously I take showers in between

You don't have to shower in between if you don't sweat/smell. Much better for your skin.

Ultramic · 12/01/2019 13:50

I shower every other day.

...not helpful.

In Japan they have baths that maintain the water hot all year round. They shower before getting in so the water stays clean.

LaurieFairyCake · 12/01/2019 13:55

I bath every day. There's no way it uses more water than my shower.

ItsQuietTime · 12/01/2019 13:57

YABU Mumsnetters take a minimum of 4 very short showers per day. Wink

lemonface · 12/01/2019 13:58

I do the same in the winter, only way to get warm and get out of bedtime routine Wink

Only if you have super long showers, baths on average use more gallons.

Tiredismymiddlename85 · 12/01/2019 13:59

Nope, I shower in the morning and bath at night every day.

InsomniacAnonymous · 12/01/2019 14:11

I bath every day and don't consider that excessive.

Wonkypalmtree · 12/01/2019 14:15

I have started bathing more, very good for wellbeing and my foo seems happier

I have a bath every day, sometimes twice!
I couldn't give a toss, what I wear or drive or even what I eat. But heat and hot water are my luxuries. I neither drink nor smoke. I can easily stand in our power shower for 10mins, the bath takes 10 mins to run too, Yet I can sit and soak and stay as long as I like.
