In not understanding this advert?

Reading Time Out this morning, and happened upon this Virgin Atlantic advert.
Why have they got six legs between them? It's not referenced in the blurb, and the focus is on their faces and the spaghetti 'sharing'. So I get that. BUT WHY HAVE THEY GOT 6 LEGS???
The other ads in the series are all perfectly normal, with no extra limb action visible.
It's too early for this shit.

In not understanding this advert?

That is bizarre I have no idea

gamerwidow · 11/01/2019 07:01

Grin when photoshop goes wrong.
I wonder how that got past the proof readers.

StealthPolarBear · 11/01/2019 07:01

The line is even more
Could be that

Yutes · 11/01/2019 07:03

They’ve made a mistake, haven’t they? Grin

It would’ve been funny though, if they’d made a joke about more leg room

LadyOfTheCanyon · 11/01/2019 07:03

YES! Extra Leg room I was just pondering on.

Never mind 6 legs- one of the pink jeans legs is pointing at a very awkward angle. Ouchy.

cheesenpickles · 11/01/2019 07:07

Even more leg room?

chordFire · 11/01/2019 07:08

I would put my money on this being a marketing ploy to get people sending the advert round pointing out the extra legs. There was lots of media attention to the extra leg in a (vogue?) picture containing lots of famous women last year.

PutUpOrShutUp · 11/01/2019 07:24

Extra leg room perhaps

Aridane · 11/01/2019 07:26

I like to think it would be the visual equivalent of a typo Grin - but the more cynical posters are probably right...

LadyOfTheCanyon · 11/01/2019 11:37

Yeah, I can't believe that it's not deliberate, even though it's really clunky looking!

Beerflavourednipples · 11/01/2019 11:41

Why are two women straddling each other on a table eating spaghetti anyway? It seems totally unrelated to the text?

And the legs thing is so obvious that I can't see how it would have been signed off? It does seem like a missing joke or something? How did photoshop even 'go wrong' on it?

Beerflavourednipples · 11/01/2019 11:42

It sort of looks like tge wrong text has been put with the picture?

boringlyboring · 11/01/2019 11:44

The entire thing is a trainwreck, I have many questions.

Why is it referencing Lady and The Tramp with the spaghetti?
Why is the blond’s face circled more than
the other one?
Why that position (even without the missing legs, it’s still a bit too ‘Kama Sutra’ for a holiday add?)
Why did they knock the food on the floor? The add talks about saving but they’re just wasting.

Finally, why am I so invested?

MarshaBradyo · 11/01/2019 12:32

I’m surprised there isn’t someone on mn who knows who does these ads and we could find out - the answers to Boring’s questions

LadyOfTheCanyon · 11/01/2019 19:52

So many questions. And where are the woman on the right's arms?

Bumper1969 · 11/01/2019 20:33

The window view is the flight, airplane is looks like two normal women on a plane but the truth is they're heronistic multi limbed lesbians who have erotic food play.

chordFire · 11/01/2019 21:04

@Bumper1969 has nailed it!
