A little less dramatic than the title may suggest.
I live in a warm country, however, anytime I return to the UK or another cold country during cold weather I instantly develop a runny nose and sore throat.
Example: Last December I visited Austria. Before visiting I felt perfectly healthy, within 48 hours I had a sore throat, was embarrassingly bad with a stuffy nose - within 3 hours of landing back in my resident country I felt fine again.
I grew up in Scotland and am worried/confused as to why this could be?
