Can you foresee this going badly

So moved into a new build and there's a quite a few houses being built. One of the builders who I often chat to has two dogs that he brings to work. He walks them round in the morning, his lunch break and after work. They wait in his car with an open window, snacks and water while he works. My garden has nothing of value, is rather over grown and has a few plastic outdoor toys that I wouldn't miss. I've left it over winter.

I'm considering suggesting to him that he leaves the dogs in my garden while he works. It's secure, I'm out three days during the week, the cat stays indoors. Building work is scheduled to run till April but I imagine it's going to go over.

Anyone see any pitfalls to this? The days I'm here I'd gladly spend an afternoon playing with them in the garden. I love dogs but don't have the time. Seems win win to me. Also he could always say no. I'm not here three days during the week. I don't want to commit to dog sitting, just allowing him to use the garden

Just make sure he picks up the poo.

I'd have him sign some sort of disclaimer that you are not responsible for his dogs in any way. If one became ill or had an accident he could claim it happened while in your garden and try to get you to pay towards any vet bills. Also, be sure it is secure so that the dogs can't get taken. Make sure none of the plants/weeds are poisonous to dogs.
