AIBU to be pissed off not hearing from brother

NB as probably outing.
Me and DBrother don't keep in touch much but live within an hour's drive of each other. No bad blood or anything, just live different lives and don't have much in common. He is crap at keeping in touch and always has been.

Was a bit difficult trying to work out where to have Christmas this year (I have 2 young dc) and ended up staying home but visited family (where DB + DSIL stayed for Xmas) a few days afterwards - they'd gone home. We'd already given our presents to be passed onto them for Christmas day. I've still not had a single thank you or offer to meet up or even say if they have any presents to send (I don't care at all about presents for me/DH but they had mentioned specific things they were getting for DC). Last I heard was their christmas lists and apologies for not being able to come to my DC's birthday. I've messaged to say hello, did you have a good Xmas, are we going to see you - nothing.

DSIL would probably be mortified as she always has Christmas organised (way more than anyone else in our family!) and usually months early. DM always says i need to contact SIL if I want to get an answer from DB but AIBU to think he actually needs to make an effort once in a while? He's late 30s, not a kid!

I've got another DC birthday coming up but I'm getting the impression DB just isn't interested.

I never hear from my brother and havn't seen him for 3 years. He lives 5 minute drive away. I don't like him. I used to send birthday cards every year but after 10 years of having my birthday ignored i decided not to bother. It works for me! Sounds as though the relationship is always on his terms, so if you want one, i guess you follow his rules.
