Which model did you get? What soup have you made?

alwaysstressed · 08/01/2019 18:57

I have a soup maker but ive never used it I just stick to using my big pot. Why is it so amazing what can it do that my pot can't?
Maybe I should fish mine out the back of the cupboard.

lickencivers · 08/01/2019 19:01

I bought slow cooker liners. Fucking amazing.

BlueJava · 08/01/2019 19:02

Excellent! try out lots of recipes and enjoy :) Can I ask what make it is - I've been thinking of getting one for my mum. Ideally I'd like a small one for 2 ppl.

Thurmanmurman · 08/01/2019 19:02

YANBU. Which one have you got? I really want one. Love a bit of soup!

IamTheMeg · 08/01/2019 19:05

What is different about it- won't a pan just do?

Hubblebubbletripletrouble · 08/01/2019 19:06

Yes which one? Is it the same as a stick blender? I have no idea but I’m thinking of investing...

BunsOfAnarchy · 08/01/2019 19:07

Please explain why its better than an old fashioned pan so i can go buy yet another small appliance i do not need but i just have to have Grin

Oooh where's the best place for the liners?
It's a Morphy Richards 50140.
Only made leek and potato so far.

Shopping arrives tonight so hoping to make red lentil and carrot soup tomorrow.
I used to think that they'd be a fad and for so long I held out with the simple pan and blender, but this however is a god send if you're busy. Chop ingredients put in machine press go, twenty minutes later soup is ready and no need to be tied to the stove so to speak and I can get one with whatever else needs doing.... Oooh I may be organised and healthier/ slimmer one day! Grin
