Cake.

Mixing bowls & Tupperware. It's at the bottom of the cupboard of doom with loads of other stuff I never use piled on top of it. I don't think it's ever been used for its intended purposes.

If it was, it would be crackers and cheese.

Is Susan a thing or a person here, confused

DramaAlpaca · 05/01/2019 04:03

It's a thing. It's a sort of round, spinning turntable thing that's used for serving snacks at the table. Very 1970s.

Bahhhhhumbug · 05/01/2019 04:05

and very outdated and derogotary to Susans everywhere.

DramaAlpaca · 05/01/2019 04:17

Quite.

SpoonBlender · 05/01/2019 04:22

No cake anymore, I just finished it.

The previous time it was used, sushi. That was last Easter, I think. Susan doesn't get a lot of love.

PeaQiwiComHequo · 05/01/2019 04:24

I don't tend to use it for a cheeseboard. I sometimes use it as a cake-icing turntable. when it's on the table its either for fondue or for pick-n-mix desserts (eg DIY Eton Mess, or "Eton Tidy" as we call it)

Justagirlwholovesaboy · 05/01/2019 04:29

I hate cheese, feel sorry for Susan’s, but can I use it for chocolate????

MrsTerryPratcett · 05/01/2019 04:36

The only time I remember loving a lazy Susan was in a Chinese restaurant in the 1980s. My DBro and I sneakily turning it slowly to get the best stuff Grin
