To ask is it possible to recover deleted text messages from a wiped iphone

Dh having some legal problems at work and has some text messages that were send a few years ago that would clear his name.

Since they were received he has had an upgrade and given the old phone to our teenage daughter after factory resetting.

I’ve had a look online or couldn’t retrieve them using iTunes or iCloud (maybe I was doing something wrong as I’m not completely savvy)

These texts are so important. Is there anyway we could retrieve them. We are happy to pay.

Maybe contact apple?

Contact your service provider, they’re more likely to be able to get old texts than apple will. If they aren’t on your iCloud then it’s not likely you backed up the text messages so apple won’t have any access to them either.

Apple won't give messages to the fbi so unlikely to give them to you! I think they are lost, sorry
