I had it done a few weeks ago through the Marie Stopes charity, which means the money supports reproductive health around the world. There is limited discussion of this around so thought I'd add my experience
I was worried before, as was DW, but we took the plunge as it's the least problematic long term contraception (in our opinion)
I am glad to not have to do it again but it was basically fine, bit sore for a week or so then back to normal.
So any guys thinking about it, based on my experience it's not that bad and certainly less painful than another baby. It's on a level with having a tooth out.
I also feel as manly as ever if not more so that's good
. Annoyingly it's 3 months until you send off a sample for the "All clear" though.
