To look for a new job

Hi
So I recently graduated and got a job in the same field which I really love however it's a good 50 minutes each way travel and long days which is having an impact on my family . I could look for jobs closer to home but it is unlikely to be in my field of study and perhaps not as rewarding as what I do now but I could be at home more as I wouldn't have almost 2 hours on top of a 9 hour day.

I genuinely don't know what to do because if I come out of this field I would find it hard to ever get back in!

Would it be unreasonable to just find any job so I can be home more for my family or should I stick it out as things may get easier as they get older!

50 minutes isn’t particularly long? depends where you are of course , but around London 50 min is considered a short commute.
can you work a day a week from home?taking just any job is something you might deeply regret in a couple of years

No I suppose it doesn't seem much but I live rurally and no where near london . 50 mins each way is quite a lot here but then I suppose it's the price I pay to live in the countryside. Some of the issue is I'm not paid a huge amount and so it costs me a fair amount in fuel whereas if I work closer I can earn slightly less but my outgoings would be much less too however this is a career move as opposed to a job. I'm just finding the home/work balance hard and I can't work from home due to the nature of the work.
