Copper Coil and Javelin Arse

Posting here for traffic,

I had my second ELCS at the start of September (had a previous one for breech and this was due to other probs). Had a copper coil put in at the same time. Previously had tried to have one inserted at doctors but due to scarring on my cervix they couldn't do it (nearly passed out with pain - it was NOT going in).
All been fine, about 2 weeks ago got my period, was stupidly heavy as expected. Since then I have had what can best be described as Javelin Arse x 10. It comes on suddenly about 5/6 times a day.

Yesterday it must have happened about 20 times, at one point I was in cafe holding my youngest and I thought I was going to drop him.

I can't sit down as any pressure on my back side intensifies the shooting pain up to my womb area, it feels like an intense contraction that takes about 30/40 secs to subside. I'm left sweaty and faint. When I walk I can feel a full, dragging pain in my cervix area.
It's happened 4/5 times again today - I know that the coil can take a while to settle and that it can be painful but this is debilitating - has anyone had anything similar? If it is the coil AIBU going to the doctor and getting it out asap, I can't cope if this is going to be a regular thing.

I don't have a coil but I get javelin arse every month since I hit my 40's

I would be getting that checked pretty urgently - they can move and in rare cases can puncture your uterus...

No that's not normal with the coil. I had a bit of internal discomfort but it was more like a little scratch. You need to see a doctor, and soon.

Thanks for the reply's. I went to the Dr today and they couldn't find the strings. They aren't really sure what to do so the plan is to ask the EPU to scan me. If they won't then it's A and E. Other than that I will have to wait to be admitted to hospital which will take weeks. I'm waiting for a call back at the moment.
