To ask you about marriage allowance?

I'm really confused and Google isn't reallt answering my questions I'm not sure if were entitled to it or not so I was hoping someone here may know?
I'm a sahp and dh works full time. We receive some child tax credit. Are we eligible to apply for it? Does it affect our tax credits?

It shouldn't effect tax credits I don't think, I can't remember if those are based on pre or post tax income. You'd just be giving him a small amount of your tax allowance so he could earn say 13k before tax instead of 12k.

Yes you should be entitled. No, it is unlikely to affect your tax credits. It's really simple to apply for and does make a small but noticeable difference financially.
