To ask how to get chewing gum off clothing please?

My son came home today with gum all on back of his top, jacket and trackies. What's the best way to remove please - top and trackies were new on!

At school our teachers used something that smelled like pear drops! I have frozen clothes before than bashed if off when it’s solid.

Freeze them

Put clothes in the freezer, when frozen gum should peel off easily.

Yep put them in the freezer, then it becomes brittle and can be removed.

YY , put them in the freezer and it'll snap off .

Peanut butter if it gets on hair (so I;m told)

When I got chewing gum in my hair as a kid (someone threw it on the school bus) my mum got it out with washing up liquid

Try putting into the freezer overnight, then you might be able to snap pieces off. What a nuisance!

When I’m queen of everything, chuggy will be banned.

Freezer and chip it off.

Then douse any remaining traces in olive oil (or peanut butter) to dissolve it then dab it off.

I put a blob of fairy liquid on a gum stain I had on my bra the other day, left it an hour and the gum Mark came off completely!

Freezer then washing up liquid while still frozen; surprisingly works very well
