Moving to Tunbridge Wells - schools

Hi all, we are hoping to move to Tunbridge Wells this summer. I have a 7 year old who will be going into year 3 in September. So nervous about it all although feel it will be the best thing for my family. Any advice on primary school in year admissions? Schools seem mainly over subscribed. I will be commuting into London daily so also interested in after school clubs / activities. Anyone else recently made the move ? Thanks so much

All schools these days are over subscribed.

There are good secondary schools, as TW still has grammar schools. As a result, most primaries in the area push to get the pupils to this standard.

I don't know a lot about after school clubs, but it's a commuter town so there's bound to be lots of things about.
