to feel depressed about...

the long winter months we have ahead?

January and February are the coldest, darkest, most miserable months of the year. There are no bank holidays to break them up, and Easter is late in 2019 too.

I also dread the snow. As someone who has to work, it is a really stress when it comes to driving and public transport.

:(

Cold, woohoo
Dark, woohoo
No kids screaming outside my window, woohoo
Being able to wear more than a baggy tee and ugly shorts, all of which need changing twice a day, woohoo

Na, sorry, I'm a winter lover. But I don't understand. One year it was so grey for months, my depression was awful.

I hate winter, too, OP. The long, dark nights are the worst part for me, when it's dark at 15:30, and I also dread snow and ice. I have been wondering if one of those lightboxes might help me!

I much prefer the spring and summer, especially when it's still a little light at 23:00 (I live in Scotland), I can have all the windows in the house open, I can sit in the garden for a bit, watching the lambs in the farmer's field frolicking with their friends and feeding from their mothers. They're such playful and curious little things, I can't help but smile at them. I love to see colourful flowers everywhere in the spring & summer and I enjoy going for a drive in the lovely, green countryside with my husband. A bit of warm sunshine on m6 face does me a power of good.

I love winter (January baby) it's so cosy coming home to a warm house and nice food. And you can wear lovely snuggly clothes.
Summer is ok but I m noise sensitive and the constant racket in the long evenings does my head in. Also I sweat like a moose and get migraines in the heat. And bugs love to bite me so I m always itching.
But I love the long summer break and sitting garden with wine after work.
