To feel fat, bloated and knackered!

I'm done, I'd happily go back to work on Monday but I've still got another week off and because I'm out of routine I can't be arsed to shape up. So instead of actually acting my old age and doing something about it I'm still caning unused prosecco and eating so much chocolate, sugar and crap I could burst at the seams. I haven't been for a run since mid December unless you include running to the bottle opener. I've put on 18 stone in 5 days. But fuck it "it's Christmas!"

😁👍🍾

Can I join in? I'm early fifties , menopausal ( properly) and very bloated : overweight. No energy : everything is a chore. Feel sick and dizzy most of the time too.
Never felt so bad!

Me too. I hate it.

'Tis the season to feel fat and bloated, knackered and skint.

AlwaysSomethingThere · 29/12/2018 20:40

Yes I feel sick too. I'm hoping the wine tonight helps because after all they are made of grapes, which is fruit, which is very good for you.

It’s honestly not worth it. I’ve stopped overeating at Christmas. Only gained a pound this year but feeling out of shape as I’ve had flu and been unable to exercise. Use the time off to cook lovely homemade meals that are healthy and stop eating the crap, your body will thank you for it!

recklessruby · 30/12/2018 20:29

I can't wait to go back to work on the 7th too.
I get loads of exercise during the working day but lately I feel sluggish and tired.
Been on a really strict diet before Christmas and lost a stone.....now I m scared to get back on the scalesBlush Oh red wine, Bailey's and chocolate I hate you Sad

recklessruby · 30/12/2018 20:30

Ds just bought us some beers so hello more calories but it would be rude to say no..Grin

Eliza9917 · 30/12/2018 20:35

I feel like a whale, beached on my sofa.

We're currently trying to eat all the crap to get rid of it.

I'm counting down the days til the 2nd when I'm starting my 'new me' plan. I'm going back to the gym, starting back on exante for breakfast and lunch and eating a healthy dinner.

I'm actually craving salads and water, but I'm also trying to get my last meals in and use up the vodka.

I'm thinking Chinese for Nye dinner. Also tempted by and m&s dinner. Still want to have a kebab and chips too.

Same here, feel awful and noticed today my skin is awful too, must be connected. Luckily I’m back at work Thursday

Onestep2 · 30/12/2018 21:03

I'm pregnant so all I can do this festive season is eat everything I can get my chubby wee pregnant hands on.

If it contuines by the time I'm 9months pregnant I will resemble a fully grown orca whale... but fuck it, it's Christmas. HO HO HO

(For the love of god Jan hurry up so I can eat salad.... coz who would choose a salad in December. That's insane.)

LagunaBubbles · 30/12/2018 21:08

Me to. Menopausal doesn't help either. It's been Pringles for breakfast for days now. Although I dud have a peach today! Grin

recklessruby · 30/12/2018 21:19

@lagunabubbles I can't even have Pringles in the house. I know I won't stop till the whole tube is gone (and they're reduced in Sainsbury's at the moment Sad)
