I do in some ways. We have had a nice time but there has been lots of hosting/visiting friends and family and tbh I am longing for a peaceful day!

Tomorrow we have friends coming for dinner but then nothing planned for Sunday so I am looking forward to that.

I am off work until the 7th and so next week I am planning to just chill with DS and DH before term time mayhem begins again!

I'm shattered. I want to go to bed for a week and not see another person bar the cat.

Sick of people, food, alcohol, noise and clutter.

Hell yes .... I'm shattered after one day in work and feel hard done to, everyone has helped today by moving their presents to their own rooms though and I am supposed to be impressed Confused

I'm shattered. Have guests. Baby not sleeping. Dh being an arsehole and thinks being on holidays should include a holiday from parenting. I'm getting a new business off the ground, trying to run around after family and just generally spreading myself far too thinly. I love Xmas and have enjoyed aspects of it but today everyone can fuck off. Sorry for the rant on your thread 😁

The cat and dog are also being hugely demanding.

Frogletmamma · 28/12/2018 23:19

It's fine sure I am sure there are points where I was tempted to just leave the house and hide in a coffee shop for a couple of hours

All three kids (aged 4, 3 and 5 month) have been ill with high fevers, coughs and now on antibiotics. Started last Friday and still ongoing, so covered the entire holiday period. The house looks like a pharmacy. I have barely slept. I am disappointed and exhausted in equal measures. We drove 12 hours to be here and have been stuck indoors the entire time. Christmas with the kids is magical ey? Oh well. Could be worse! It could always be worse.

Frogletmama sounds like heaven!
