DS, aged 18 - going travelling with 3 friends, second week of jan until approx sept 19. No return tickets booked yet.
They’ve got a great schedule, booked a lot of the flights, hostels, know their main plans, etc. 2.5 months general travellong, then on to a club to play a sport for a season.
Only thing they haven’t yet done is sort out a: insurance, and b: their phones.
So I don’t be a pushy mother, can anyone recommend a backpackers travel insurance company for open ended travel, and what do you do with a phone contract (Vodafone), if you’re going to places like Vietnam, Cambodia etc?
