Female yellow/fox red lab will be joining us soon. We’re thinking Bridget but any other suggestions?
Some pictures from the Facebook page the breeder runs to update us.

She's beautiful. How about Sheba, Esme, Sunny or Jana. I like Bridget too.

sherrysfortea · 27/12/2018 17:48

I think Bridget is a really cute name

Do you prefer regular "people" names or are you open to things like food, flowers etc?

Feebeee · 27/12/2018 17:50

I love people names on dogs. If we were getting a male he would be Hugo or Spencer

She's beautiful!

What are your plans for her? Is she to be a working/gun dog or a pet? If a working dog, a shorter one or two syllable name is best (we used to breed and train Labs and, adorable as they are, they're often not the sharpest knives in the drawer and the simpler the command, the better, especially for recall).

Also, decide your tolerance level for calling in public, bearing in mind that Labs do have a tendency for 'selective hearing' at the best of times (I would refer you to 'Fenton! FENTON!' from some years back). Grin

ThistleAmore · 27/12/2018 17:55

Actually, yeah, Bridget Bones, I'm sold on that too!

I just feel like jumping in the screen and eating her all up.
She looks really settled with you.
Congratulations.

Feebeee · 27/12/2018 18:03

She's a Bridget, it really suits her

heresHalloweenagain18 · 27/12/2018 18:42

Shes gorgeous Grin
I also like bridget bones

An altenative name suggestion though Bernadette ?

As you could shorten it to Bernie.

You could have Bernadette Bridget Bones as her "official" name. Lol.

Good luck xxx

We'll need a Bridget Bones' s Diary. Will there be a Bark Darcy for her?
Bridget Bones's Baby? The Hedge of Reason?
