We orgamised that they would come round today after lunch today as they were busy yesterday. We've waited in but they've not come and are not answering their phones or answering messages. They can be a bi scatty with times but are not normally this bad.

I would be more worried than pissed off sorry (even with the scattyness)

I am starting to get worried now, if they don't appear in the next half an hour or so I think I'll go over to theirs. I think they were going to my step mums sisters earlier so may have forgotten about the time and df is never the best at answering his phone

After lunch is 3-5 ish?

whyameyehere · 26/12/2018 15:38

We normally mean 1:30-2 in our house, and normally message to just confirm about what time just to make sure they're/we're in so that the person we're visiting diesn't feel like they have to sit in the house all day.

Any news of df and stepmum op?

whyameyehere · 26/12/2018 19:29

Tgey eventually came about quarter to five, they'd gone for a walk with stepmums sister and dogs down the beach and lost track of time! It was great to see them but it's sad to see my stepmum who has been in my life for nearly 30 yrs getting more vague, it's not really dementia(hopefully never will be) but she repeats herself a lot and seems to forget what she told you an hour ago.

I’m glad they turned up, sorry that your stepmum is getting a bit vague though
