Weird thing happened yesterday

I've NC for this and I'm sure I'm going to get told I'm walking rubbish. My brother died about two and a half years ago. Obviously we all think about him more at this time of year. Anyway yesterday I asked Alexa to play some Christmas music. She randomly started playing music by The Smiths. This was my brother's favourite band ever - even played at his funeral. He honestly bored us to tears with talking about them. I know a lot of people will say this is a coincidence but it brought me and my mum comfort. By the way, I had been asking Alexa to play Christmas songs all morning and she obliged. It was only when my mum turned up she played The Smiths.

That’s lovely, good old Alexa.

My friend had a similar thing happen with Alexa when talking a bout her late mum. She heard Alexa upstairs and went up to find an obscure favourite of her mum's playing. When she asked Alexa to play it again, she was told 'your Spotify account has been cancelled' (they had decided to cancel the subscription sometime before). Sent shivers down my spine, but it was lovely for her.

I thought you would all think I was crazy as well!
