So I'm due on period. Had some cramping, but not started bleeding yet. Went toilet before and noticed this which I have passed. It was covered in bright pink blood and felt fleshy (sorry to feel gross) still no period but cramping. Never had anything like this happen to me before and just wondering what's going on tbh. Sorry if this thread is tmi or gross x

Sorry you had a scare (
To me, it looks like a piece of mucosa from inside the womb that detached as a whole. It is quite a large one. Being observant wouldn't hurt.
Pls pay attention to what happens next - how much blood, colour, cramping. If anything worrisome, do not delay getting medical help.
May I ask: could you have been pregnant by any chance?

And yes, decidual cast may be a possibility.

Just looks like normal bits of womb lining. Like i shed every month.

I second the PPs. I reckon it’s just a big Bit Of Stuff and nothing to worry about.
