Posting for traffic. Four year old is up (again), excited over Santa coming tomorrow. She's just asked if there is only one Santa and I told her there was. She then asked if I'm sure as they all have different voices (not helped that it was clearly a woman in a Santa costume in the grotto today). I've told her she needs to go to bed and we'll talk in the morning. What shall I tell her? She will ask again. He has lots of helpers? His voice is sore from talking to all the children? Would hate her to suss out it's all pretend at such a young age. Think she's already having doubts that our elf is real. Any ideas?

We always had the 'many helpers' story when we were kids, and mine have never mentioned anything. This year Santa had a Scottish accent and they didn't notice.

I would tell her that sometimes Santa is too busy in the North Pole to visit the grotto, so some other workers from the North Pole fill in and visit the grotto for him. I asked similar questions at a similar age and this is what my mum told me. I bought it 🤷🏼‍♀️
